Imagine this: You will be visiting the highest waterfall of our planet, and will be surrounded by huge walls of rock that where formed billions of years ago... navigate through rivers and rapids inside of a Curiara or Dugout Canoe, while getting to know Pemón Indian culture. This experience will take you to Canaima lagoon and it´s famous waterfalls, and along the amazing Carrao and Churun rivers into the Devil´s Canyon, where you will be able to see the Angel Falls with your own eyes, and take a bath on the waters that come from the summits of the Lost World.
Itinerary:
Day 1
We start our journey taking a plane from Ciudad Bolivar or Puerto Ordaz, which will take a one hour, over flying savannas, jungles and
the mighty Guri water dam. Our first tepuys (indigenous name for
table mountain) will appear in the background. We land next to the
Canaima lagoon. Upon arrival, we board a dugout canoe that will cross
the lagoon, and we’ll be able to see the beauty and power of its
waterfalls.
We arrive to our camp, where we will have lunch, and in the afternoon
we will enjoy a walk towards Sapo falls, which we will cross from the
back and see the forces of water just a meter next to us.
Overnight in Hammocks or bed in Camp or Lodge.

Day 2
In the morning, after breakfast we leave Canaima in our dugout
canoe, which will take us up Carrao River closer to the Auyantepuy.
We will enter the devil’s canyon, and while crossing fun rapids, and will
be surrounded by huge sandstone walls, till we finally see it… the
highest waterfall of the World, the Angel Falls. We arrive to our camp,
where we leave most of our things, and we prepare to a 1 hour hike to
the base of the falls, where we will enjoy a spectacular view from
Laime´s point, and then a bath in a beautiful pool. Hike back to our
camp.
Overnight in hammocks.

Day 3
We wake up in the morning with a view of the falls, and after breakfast
we follow down the river to go back to Canaima. In Canaima we have
some time to relax, before taking our plane back to Ciudad Bolívar or
Puerto Ordaz.

Puerto Ordaz, Canaima National Park entry fee.
