Autana - Salto Angel Venezuela

The Caura river is the biggest affluent of Orinoco river and offers quite a jungle experience. Board with us an indian made dugout canoe to travel along this majestic river crossing amazing jungles, granite metamorphic rocks that rise from the river, and with luck we might be able to spot sweet water dolphins, the impressive caimán del orinoco (orinoco alligator), howler monkeys and more fauna, which makes for a slightly different weekend to the usual roast dinner, friends and a texas holdem tournament. We´ll arrive to a huge beach, where we´ll stay in churuatas, typical indigenous huts made by the Ye´Kwanas, and sleep in hammocks. From there we´ll have a walk to the porwerful Para Falls and take a bath on a beautiful beach right in front of them. You won´t find moskitoes in this tour!
