Cata is a beautiful beach located in northern Aragua State, continuing the road that goes from Maracay to Ocumare de la Costa, crossing the spectacular Cloud Forest of Henri Pittier National Park.

The take off lies right after passing the antennas, entering the valley of Cata. The launch is a little complicated, steep and surrounded by thorn trees, so be sure to take off right away.

With strong wind, it's easy to take advantage of the dynamic updrafts along the ridge, and with less wind it's easier to find thermals that can take you up to the mountain.

The view in this flight is amazing. You can see the bay of Cata and its beaches and buildings, which with enough wind, allow you to soar on top of them and have a chat with its inhabitants. Some even offer you a bottle of beer when you pass close to them...

The most obvious landing possibility is the beach, you just have to take care of people and sun covers. If you want to land in some other place, take care of cables.
