Manzanillo is located at the northern part of Margarita Island. This spot is mainly for ridge soaring, and nice views of the caribbean and el Agua beach can be enjoyed.

Strong winds blow at the island mainly from December till July. The flight is really relaxing if you have no trouble taking off in strong wind and are used to push the accelerator once in a while. You could compare it with a floating hammock, enjoying the view of the beaches and the ocean.

In flight, take care of the wind and stay out of the rotor behind of the ridge.

You can land wherever you feel, there are no obstacles...

To get to there you take the road that goes from Playa el Agua to Manzanillo, before arriving at Mazanillo, there is a ridge on the right side of the road. Cross a little village till you find a dirt road and you can pick the spot you prefer to take off.
